TRAVELING, FILMS AND SOCIETY.
Not only am I traveling the world searching for answers, I also want to use my limited time here on earth to create something. A revolution, a radical change for a better future? For now, it's only this blog. Since a long time, many people encouraged me to finally share my thoughts on my journeys, the world and cinema. So I'm more than glad to announce that there will be articles coming frequently on the GSC journal. As I am reviewing every single film I watch on Letterboxd, I am planning to share longer, interesting reviews also here. At least once a month though, I'll try to publish some of my observations during my journey around the world - which led me by road from Germany to India without taking a single plane, after one year in India then through the Middle East. Sometimes, I'll also publish something on society & politics, the topics I study. But those are going to come much less frequent, as I just moved to Paris and I rarely find the time to actually sit down to write well-researched articles. If there are any wishes for something special though, please contact me, I'd be glad to take he time then.

For over two years until last summer, I travelled the world over land. Mostly hitchhiking, with a very limited budget per day. I met locals, often slept in persons houses and experienced the most crazy and beautiful things. I have a passion for travelling to destinations off the beaten path: former war countries, regions who fight for their indepence, countries you normally wouldn't think of travelling to.
My dream: visit every country on earth.
My greatest passion. There's nothing i'd rather talk about than films - for hours, days or weeks. I made a lot of (short) films myself, so I'm familiar with the process of fimmaking and what it takes.
When writing a review or analysis, I mostly concentrate on what the film's ideology and what it's trying to say. Currently, I try to watch one film from every single country on earth. Check out my Letterboxd profile for all my reviews.
The third main topic of my blog are my shared thoughts on society, politics and everything else which is going on in this world. I am currently studying Political Science and Sociology and have read countless books on anarchism, socialism, capitalism and other topics. Everything concerning literature, art, philosophy and lifestyle shall also find a place here. Any recommendations or wishes for other topics most welcome!
